Today we ran in the Freihofer 5k for women. Everybody did really well and it was GREAT fun! Here we are at Chris’ house, ready to go.
The three of us decided to race in dresses because running just isn’t hard enough. 
(Remember the attitude. Propriety, dears, propriety!)
At the start. Soon this will be full of about 3000+ women and girls, ready to go!
Such pretty girls! My running buddy’s daughter is on the left and my girls are on the right. My eldest was not into wearing a dress. She said, “I’m running for TIME!”
We want to run! During the race we got so many great comments. “LOOK! LOOK! It’s the QUEEN!” “Oh, wow! A bride and her bridesmaid!” And my personal favorite: “RUUUUUUUUUUN CINDERELLA!!!” People hollered great things the whole race–the fun factor alone made it worth I could not keep up with my youngest daughter (ugh). At the finish one of the finish volunteers said, “The little princess finished a few minutes ago!”

Will race for cookies! (We are happy campers now!)
